I think your thoughts are very relevant. I rotated antifungals for a long time and made no progress. I then concentrated only on healing the gut with probiotics and leaky gut treatments and felt much better although it took a couple of months to really start to get results. I then decided to help the process along by taking antifungals. I went backwards and felt worse. I had to revert to my old protocol for a couple of months before I got back to where I had been before I took the antifungals.
