My recent experiences suggest that small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) has paid a big role in my poor vision. While working to clear this condition, my vision has progressed by leaps and bounds without changing my nutritional supplements. I discovered that when SIBO is present, bile is broken down and made ineffective in the fat digestion process which can impair fat-soluble vitamin digestion. My first treatment was very simple and has produced results. I used enteric coated peppermint oil with caraway oil and oregano oil, Natural Factors brand for 21 days. During this time my weak right eye has finally found gotten stronger and can focus on distant objects.
Perhaps, the reason your supplements have been futile could be a result of SIBO as well. Google it, and see if anything applies to you. I have read that it can be asymptomatic, so you may want to consider either way.
I recently started grapefruit seed extract as a phase 2 SIBO cleanse for the next 2 weeks. I'm getting a lot of improvement in my post nasal drip and skin breakouts, so I'm happy. I am also adding betaine HCl during my heavier meals to improve my stomach acid levels. This too has been a benefit with promising results.
Good luck.
