here is what shelly said here some years ago:

Okay, there's been a lot of problems due to people following the recipe here on CureZone so here's a corrected version guarranteed to prevent any ickyness:

Heat up just a quart of good water until it feels slighty warm to your elbow.

Add in a tablespoon of salt, it can be any kind of salt as long as it's not Epsom salt. Table or sea will do fine, it's not going anywhere, it's staying in your intestines.

After it dissolves, taste the water. It should taste very salty to you, like chicken soup (it helps to think of it as chicken soup, takes away the gag reflex). If it doesn't taste very salty to you, add more, a teaspoon at a time.

Swallow all at once and feel it going down your digestive tract. Crouch down and massage your abdomen to heighten the cleansing effect on your bowels. Release as necessary. It should come out as "butt pee."

What you're doing here is basically drinking ocean water. People will die of dehydration when trapped on the ocean because ocean water is so salty, so negatively charged with ions, that the body cannot absorb the water. It passes right through the intestines.

Many people are salt-deprived without knowing it, so they need more salt than others. If you fail to salt the water enough, you will actually absorb the water, feel bloated and get no "butt pee." You will not cleanse anything at that point, you'll just be over-hydrated. So ... the saltier the better! :)
