I am not sure if they know why anyone gets pregnant. I do know I was told the odds of me getting pregnant with an IUD were 6 in 1000.

I almost fell on the floor when my pregnancy test came back positive.

I must say, the doctor's office didn't seem all that surprised when they were removing the IUD. Almost like it is something that happens all the time. Perhaps I will add that question to my list of questions when I go in this week. I know that doing my own research online AFTER my positive pregnancy test, I am thinking the numbers are MUCH, MUCH higher than 6 in 1000!!!
