I'm a 50 year old guy, probably only 40 or 50 pounds overweight (have not weighed myself in a year). I noticed that alot depends on digestion and transit time. I'm not talking about genetic metabolism (alot of people claim to be obese because of genes, ??????). The length of time food stays in our intestines before going into the toilet depends on the health of our digestive tract (which is mainly determined by disuse and inactivity). Ideally, a person should go to the bathroom three times a day (once a day is the bare minimum for decent health). The average stools weigh 3 pounds. So, get some probiotics, eat fiber daily and drink the required amount of water for YOUR body (usually one ounce for every two pounds of body weight, but to avoid overhydration, one gallon might be sufficient). Water is the basis of good health AND good digestion. You will lose alot of weight just from good digestion alone, so, with minimal effort, you can consider the bathroom to be a "Weight Loss Room". There are two types of fiber and, ideaslly, they must be balanced, check out the website below.
