I never knew the truth of my mom's aunt's situation til a year ago- when my Mom shared it with me.

I also agree that woman or man shouldnt think they deserve this treatment.
noone does- and it's not good for any kids to be brought up in this type of environment.
They should be taught to love and pity thier father/mother who is abusing-- but at the same time, they should be seperated from the abusing parent for their own safety.
