I just stumbled onto this site and read your introduction. First let me say how sorry I am for your loss...it is so sad. I myself have 2 children and do feel for you..I can't imagine what it would be like to lose a child...but you sound very strong. I lost both my parents by the age of 28 (I am now 40..as of Mother's Day...still hard to say that I am 40!!) My mother died as a result of sleep apnea while she was in the hospital with double pneumonia...my father died about 2 years later..by his own hand. In between there somewhere my grandmother...with whom I lived with after my mother passed...also died...so I can understand the pain of loss.
I am married to a wonderful man...not without our problems though...long story...but things are improving....and we are considering a third child. I am a strong believer in the spiritual world and do at times feel the presence of my mother and occasionally of my father. My mother seems to present in unexplainable events...such as a childs toy turning on when I walk in the room...my dad presents with aromas...I usally can smell his aftershave (my husband does not wear his brand) and it usually happens late at night. Also, I have heard a child's voice calling out "Mommy" late at night...to the point that it has waken me from sleep and I have run into my daughters' room only to find them fast asleep. This has happened several times and that is how I have concluded that it is not my children. I sometimes hear faint music when there are no radios or TV on...again late at night. Any thoughts on any of this would be appreciated. And to you I wish the very best...you really do sound like a nice and good person. Thank you for your time.
