That's really great! I'm training to be a counsellor/psychotherapist (partly in cognitive behavioural therapy) so was very interested to read your story.

I agree that PTSD is a more accurate and helpful description than the BPD label given the abuse you suffered in the past. I think BPD is quite a negative label anyway.

Sounds like you got a good therapist.....it can sometimes take a while to find the right one like you say. Getting in touch with painful feelings is hard work, I can totally relate to that! Drugs just suppress them.
