Not to diminsh your well placed caveat moutainlvr, however I too remember the words of wisdom that I heard as a child , from a very wise women, my grandmother, that not to allow a dog to close to a babies face as it will steel the babies breath and it will stop breathing!
Although I had heard this same thing about honey, I wonder if there really is a connection,after all? It seems that babies have been known to just stop breathing!
It does then bring up the question of what may have been the cause and then through the use of observable phenomena the last connecting device would have been the last thing a child may have eaten or the dog in association of its proximity!
Obviously the dog tale is hysterical but it begs the question? Is the honey tale just as hysterical? Is it an ole wives tale also?
