I had an abortion two weeks ago and i too chose not to tell anyone other than my partner and one close friend. I have to say that confiding in my friend was the best decision i ever made as it has allowed me to discuss my feelings and overcome any guilt. Although i will never reveal my secret to anyone else, and i think that each persons reasons for non disclosure are personal, i would advise you to confide in somebody and talk about your abortion openly with a trusted person. I am sure that this will help you enormously, probably more than than you realised it ever would. I am so glad that i confided in somebody and i hope you find the strengh to do this soon. I wish you health and happiness for the future.
