My girlfriend had three abortions when she was younger and was able to ultimately carry two babies full term, then had C-sections. She did not have any miscarriages that I know of.

She told me one time that she thought her mother had had as many as five abortions as a young girl in Cuba where her mother, my girlfriend's grandmothter, had prostituted her. She then ended up having three children after coming to America.
