I have a book, I'll hold you in Heaven, that a friend gave to me. I'll hold you in Heaven--Healing and hope for the parent who has lost a child through Miscarriage, Stillbirth, Abortion or Early Infant Death by Jack Hayford
She said to pass it on to anyone else that might be comforted by it after I was through with it. I would like to offer it to anyone that would like to read it, it is a very short book, but very comforting. It is written by a minister, Jack Hayford, from a biblical view.
My friend gave it to me because I had had a miscarriage, and then a couple years later lost my 3 week old son. A lot of it I already knew, but there was a lot that was comforting too. I would be happy to mail it anyone that would like it, no charge, just as a blessing.
I have heard different ones say the same thing about their experiences in Heaven, that the babies--all the babies wether from miscarriage, death, or abortion, were in Heaven and would be the first ones we would meet--and that we would get to raise them there. Jesse Duplantis was one of them, we watched his Dvd Close Encounters of the God Kind, and he talked about the little babies. It was so sweet...
We as mama's or would-be mama's will never forget our babes, but if we try and remember them in the setting of Heaven, rather than the sad memories of their last moments with us, I think it really helps. I do not grieve for my son, actually son's as they were both boys, but when I cry I grieve for me. I still miss them, horribly sometimes, and I always will, but I will always look forward to meeting them in Heaven. After all, this world is not my home either "I'm just a passing through, my treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue!", I'm just on temporary assignment as it were. Many blessings to you all, Caitlin Lorraine
