I think I'm past the point of wondering. I've been hearing a lot of stories lately from family and friends about cancer patients going into remission after periods of "not being able to eat." Of couse everyone credits the chemo therapy or some other complicated and expensive medical practice with the remission and subsequent recovery, and can't see that perhaps the fasting did them some good.
