Hi knottedstring,
Glad you asked as I wonderered if I would lose muscle too. Truth is I can lift 10 times the weight I could before the 40 day orange juice/distilled water/herb fast.
For example, I always asked partner or family to move heavy furniture and heavy stuff for me before the 40 day fast. Today I moved a few hundred pound sofa/bed couch WITH NO HELP when I vacumned tonite. LOL. I was amazed myself that I could easily move that couch, lol.

And also I moved a huge heavy maple dresser when I redecorated the bedroom, again, not getting tired or needing help. And I was able to carry a very heavy wood headboard up three flights of stairs around the 3rd or 4th week of the fast! I could not do that before the fast.

It appears with the CLEAN LYMPH FLUID the muscles are actually strenghtend, allowed to heal and toned as acids and toxins leave the muscles giving a healthier, toxin free, acid free, lactic acid free, clog free muscle which is better, healthier and gives more energy and strength. So I will just say cleansing feeding and nourishing the mucles with the RIGHT CARE and right intake increases muscle strength. And dead animal roadkill, aka store bought filet mignon etc, never did anything to help my muscles like the 40 day orange juice distilled water/herb fast did. I never moved that huge heavy sofa bed couch alone before and after the fast I moved it with such ease!
