Luke 24:42 and they gave him a piece of cooked fish (essene bread baked by the sun) THE LIVING BREAD that he used as a symbol for something spiritual.....

...and honey comb....) The manna in the desert tasted like wafers made with honey,.... The heavenly manna, is also very good. It is sweeter than honey....the commandments of the Lord are true and righteous together.... sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.


...and he ate in their presence... and said to them "These (honeycomb and fish) are the words which I spoke with you when I was with you.....

Regular bread can be sweet like honey and keep you alive for a while yet there is another spiritual bread... soaked, sprouted and made alive that is sweeter than honey...and gives life to the spirit..... so, actual physical bread and allegorical, spiritual bread that is that Living Bread only the taught receive....
