You are right Ayurveda doesn't preach any particular religion, but because it is an ancient Indian 'science', it is sort of Hindu by default if you know what I mean, that's why I was wondering if he was Hindu, especially as many Sri Lankans are too.
I will take a look at that site when I have some time, he sounds like a fascinating guy!
