Hi trapper/kcmo!

I am suddenly all excited about this subject, I hadn't thought of the Essenes for years!!! What was I thinking!!?

Now that I am thinking about it, I remember when I was a child, I was brought up Hindu, and there were lots of stories of Jesus spending many years in the Himalayas with yogis, and there is NO way he would have been eating meat there!! Those yogis who eat, eat only roots, fruits and raw milk, if that. There is a definite connection between this type of diet and the Essene one.

This is such a fascinating topic!
