My doctor is like yours. He told me to use no flush niacin for the bloodpressure and policosanol (Andreas also mentioned that in his book) for the cholesterol and DHEA for ?, may be hormonal. The man always amazes me that as a doctor he knows the alternatives.
Andreas suggested to test my bloodpressure for 3 days 3x a day. It has been fine. He also said that the liverflush messes up the bloodtest. He told me what to eat to up the B12, not to go for the shots they are dead bacteries and it is too much for the system. I did get some B12 sublingual lozenges at advice from the doctor. I did not want to go for a stresstest since it goes against my feeling of logic to overstress your system to find out if something is wrong. He feels the same.
So I cancelled my appointment, actually I had already done it before I knew his answer.
