Much love and blessings to you. Your story about "re-birthing" your mother is tremendous. I have no doubt that the two events are connected. And I'm happy if my words have helped somewhat. It is no accident that we all connect (even here in cyberspace) and are able to help each other so beautifully.

I think that what is meant to happen will happen. If you are meant to adopt, the right situation will present itself for you. For some reason a story about an Indian guru named Neem Karoli Baba came to mind. One of his devotees was very anxious about leaving his company and said, "please let me stay with you, I just want to serve you". The guru said, "by serving humanity, you serve me. So, go and serve." I think that when we love others we serve the greater good. By loving a child, any child, you will be serving your mother's memory very nicely.

This just came into my head when I read your words.
