Yes, it's the same stuff. Little bottles, clear is better so it won't stain. A pharmacist actually recommended this to me. You will have to ask for it, probably, because Iodine is used to make street drugs these days, but it doesn't require a prescription.

When I was a child, myself and five brothers and sisters and 11 cats had massive ringworm, aaahh! We all went to the doctor, and got some stingy white gooey medicine and took pills and it took two or three weeks to get under control. The cats went to the vet and got pills (so fun to give a cat a pill!), and topical medicine (Betadine smelling type stuff). One of the kittens (9) liked to sleep on my face, so I had a big ringworm on my face.
