I would like to know if my problem is unique or common. Eight years ago my daughter was born, but I had very bad back labor and after the birth my uterus wouldn't shrink and I was bleeding profusely. Ever since when ever my time of the month comes along I feel the pains in my lower back and not like the cramps of before. The back pain has always been bothersome except for this month Saturday 01/29/05 I started to feel my back tighten up and starting to ache, it was almost time to go to bed and didn't take any pain medication as I figured by the time I got up I would feel better. The next day it felt as if my back had gone out. Today makes a week from the start of my period and I still feel some pain and discomfort mostly on my right side. Why is it that I no longer get the traditional cramps and why the pain in my back no? What can I do? Will I ever be rid of this pain?
