This link has a list of recommended alternative therapies for MD. It targets Duchenne and Myotonic. The supplements, nutrition, and massage I can confirm with my own research. I can also confirm flaxseed. Karen (doctoryourself article, below) mentioned using Evening Primrose. I am not familiar with the other herbs listed, other than having heard some of their names.
