Hello Donna I have been reading your journey for about a week or so and want to thank you for sharing your story, my name is David and I was brought into the world of dystrophy when my son Dylan 3 years old was diagnosed at Childrens Hospital in Boston with dueschene about a month ago. To my shock I have learned what you already know , that the best hospitals in the world [ supposably] have no other treatment other than steroids, well having been blessed with common sense I found this ridiculous that all the money for research and that is it. So like you I am joining this jouney to find a cure or at least the stopping of the wasting process, I firmly believe that this is a nutritional deficiency and in my short time of research had already found that the medical world was aware of this but has yet to do anything about it. I guess I've been nieve all these years thinking that the medical community the FDA and these other govt. agencies actually care about us. The link to doctor yourself .com was great and just wanted to say thank you for sharing the info I also will share what ever info I find although I can tell you have been on this path for some time. I refused the steroid treatment for my son and have been changing everything in our diets as well as the distilled water,I have already began searching out a new water purifier for our home as well as air purifiers as well I cant believe that they say theres no hope they must not believe in god thank you for your inspiring story . good luck!
