IMO Abortion is used as a way to get votes for the parties, mainly republian. Many people vote for candidates solely on that very reason, the bad part is that the elected then really dosen't do anything about the abortion anyway, it is just a method to get votes. I always think the dems should just say they will work to make abortion i;;egal too then they will get some Conservative votes and theyn they will do nothing about it anyway just like the conservatives do now.
