Babies will lie to you before they can even talk. You say "do you need to go pottie?."

They look you in the eye and shake their head no, and then they crap their pants.

i have two. i just had my 2nd child almost 8 months ago. my first child didn't lie to me until he was well out of babyhood. and even now, he's very good. he's bigger than every kid in his classroom, but he wouldn't even defend himself when another kid started hitting him. he knows of violence and hate, but doesn't know how to express it. even when his brother was born. he doesn't express resentment or jealousy. call me lucky, but babies and children are only as pure as you allow them to be. they learn what you expose to them.
