It's interesting that you use the word selfish. I've long thought of the pro-choice movement as nothing but selfishness. There is a reason though:

There are some people in life who put THEMSELVES at the center of the universe. They are, in fact, God-like and of upmost importance. This culture is obsessed with self-esteem, self-control and self-abundance.

But remember one of the very first things that happened in the Garden of Eden? Satan tempted Adam and Eve with the possibitlity of being "like gods". Sound familiar? And what we're experiencing today is the exact same as the very first temptation. People believe they can act as if they created themselves -- be their own savior -- and invent some sort of happiness for themselves outside of God. Thus they put their identity in money, politics, nature, evolution, women's rights and other assorted things in attempt to comfort them.

But this will never work because God made us. He invented us like Men have invented the car engine. A car is made to run on gasoline, and it would not run properly with anything else. God, however, invented us humans to run on Himself. HE is the fuel for our spirits that we were designed to burn. There is no other. I know....I've looked for it -- for 38 years I looked for it. But it simply isn't there. I've learned that there is NO happiness or peace apart from the One who sent me here. There is no peace or happiness in SELFISHNESS. S
