There is also planned parenthood clinics. They can at least give you an idea of what's going on and what to do. At this point you need professional guidence. Waiting it out isn't a good thing to do. If push comes to shove, get a note from the nurse/doc at planned parenthood and give it to your mom. Or make the appointment with your doc yourself and just go. At any rate, get this Looked at.

About the tampons. Don't leave one in for mare than 8 hrs without changing it. and don't use them for more than about 7 days. There is something called toxic shock syndeom that can be caused by tampons. It's a must know things for all womens who use tampons!
