Whether abortion is to be accepted or shunned is not the only issue, abortion does happen. What about the women who have in the past made a foolish decision and are guilty of BAD JUDGEMENT. People all over the world die because of outright injustice and war, greed, corruption, etcetera. Morally, EVIL IS EVIL. How can you say that persecuting them for life (or even driving them to suicide) for what they did as a foolish kid is any better than what they have done? If someone lets wars continue WITHOUT saying a word to stop them, or lets corruption continue WITHOUT speaking out against it or writing a protest letter or signing a petition to get a law passed, what gives that person the right to judge the other person? I have known women's lives to be ruined for being a stupid kid. I guess nobody here has ever been a stupid kid. Either that or you've earned your right to convict others of wrongdoing because you always speak out against injustice. If anybody knows the story of Oedipus Rex, Oedipus vowed to 'avenge justice' (bring the culprit of a certain crime that happened years earlier to justice) without mercy. Eventually, he found the culprit and gouged his own eyes out because he discovered that HE himself was the culprit. My mother did not prepare me well for the rigors of life, but beyond that lack of preparation, she was not responsible for ALL of the rigors of life (it was all of those who have a strong, self-righteous opinion about others).

Let these women regain their lives.
