I can't answer a lot of your questions and I guess I have more of a question for you than an answer. My mother had uterine prolapse and eventually a hysterectomy. She has always told me that she feels her problems began when her doctor induced labor and the contractions were way to strong. (He was going away on vacation and her timing wasn't convenient for him so he induced. Idiot!) Anyway, I was curious if you had had any similar experiences during childbirth that could have damaged or weakened the ligaments? I have a theory that if it is common it's because of modern practices used in labor and delivery. I mean, in the old days women had lots and lots of children. I just don't think the uterus is naturally prone to prolapse or they wouldn't have been able to do this. My mother had her prolapse after having only 3 kids.
