You have a very touching story, thank you for sharing. I for one am glad you are alive and are with your husband. The both of you can now focus on each other and the special and unique love you share.

I understand what you are saying. It is also very important to make note of the Old Testament verses, I disagree that God was "vengeful" at that time. But I won't get into that now. I do however agree very much so with the teachings of Jesus Christ and the fact that we are to love, be non-judgemental etc. We are to judge sin though, otherwise we wouldn't know what a sin was right?

I must also say that so many pro-lifer's quote the scriptures but don't back up their quotes and convictions with the love and actions necessary to prove them. Even though I am pro-life, I would never judge a woman for having an abortion or wanting an abortion. It just isn't my job to do so. I would however go out of my way to help the woman in need. If it just meant loving her, than that would be what I would do.

It is totally up to the woman to choose what she will do, it is between her and God.

What I will profoundly speak out against is the fact that abortion is being used (in most cases) as birth control. That is wrong. What also is wrong is the deception involved with abortion. Just like any other medical venture it has turned into a huge money maker. Did you know that they use the aborted fetal tissue in vaccines? yuck. They also don't inform the woman properly about all the safety concerns, from immediate safety concerns such as greif & depression, hemmorageing, infection, etc. to the longterm concerns such as the increased incidence of cervical cancer and Breast Cancer and complications with subsequent pregnancies and birth.

I myself had a "legal" abortion, and was borderline hemmoraged. I lost so much blood that I'm still paying for it today, my blood counts have never been the same. I was never warned. The doctor and nurses didn't inform me of anything! The only thing they said was to come back if I had a fever!

A very dear friend of mine also had a "legal" abortion and she almost died from septic infection. She was admitted to the hospital for a week afterwards, in ICU for 3 of those days.

Those legal abortions were recent, within the last 10 years. Just like you have your story, there are always stories on the opposite side of the spectrum. Each circumstance is unique and sensitive. Abortion is not an easy subject of black and white. I am pro-life now, but I'm also an active pro-life beleiver out there trying to make a difference.

Blessings to you! May you grow closer to your husband and cherish each other for many years to come!
