1. Like I said, the feelings of the parent(s) who bear the burden of child rearing, of which the G. Jessen story is an example, count for nothing among the anti-abortion (..so called pro-life) crowd.

2. If it was determined by a test that at birth the embryo or fetus would have had cerebral palsy, you still would come to the same conclusion--a $1,000,000 bill is considered nothing (for someone else to bear).

3. I disagree that there was something wrong with the (mother's)reason for original decision to have the abortion.

4. You talk as if there are thousands of able parents waiting to adopt, when the opposite is true. There are thousands of children with no one to adopt them. Some are even abused either at the Home where they are used for medical experiments (like testing vaccine) or at the home where they are adopted. There isn't an easy road for these children. What is easy is to simply say, "Let them be adopted" and then disregard the consequences mentioned.

5. If an abortion has been done earlier than the problem with life long cerebral palsy would not have existed.

6. The problem of unwanted children is not simple as you try to make it. It is not a one-two step from problem directly to solution. Step one, there is an unwanted pregnancy. Then step two, don't have an abortion. That's your solution. It's not a solution at all, but a cause of more involved problems.
