this world get worse... with each passing day...
sometimes... i wish i could run away...
but then again... i think i'll stay...
i think... it has to be this way...

it's not my job... to change the world...
so... it is not there that i seek...
that task is far to great for me... and i know that i am weak...
so i just sit by and watch the show...
and i have a front row seat...


you mighty christian crusaders... you always lead the fight...
you maim and kill and plunder... in the name of doing right...
worry not my friend... your troubles may soon be over...
your world will soon know peace at last...
beneath rolling fields of clover...

so... do your damnedest and beat your chest...
and tell the world... that you know best...
for... surely you will meet your test...
and you might find at long last... rest...
