Hell, I drink it ON my juice fast!!!! Go for it, but it's not really "breaking" anything, it's a TEA. I just drank one, I'm on day one. I love it - fermentation is soooo vital, and is energy-giving. Still eat fruit to break it, though. I doubt tea counts!
