thank you for your post. i had the paraguard iud for about eight months, and i bled all the time, and it was horrible. my doc recommended the mirena, and after a while i finally tried it. i haven't had it but about a week. my breasts are very tender, my back hurts, and i am so tired. i thought surely i'm not pregnant. but at least i have heard the good and the bad. i'm glad that there is somebody who has had the same symptoms, but is now happy with it. i am only 24, but my periods have been so messed up since i had my first kid, and i am glad that my periods have stopped. at least for now. i just hope things only get better from here...
