I am starting a fast today. The first I have ever done. I have prepared with fruit and juices. I cannot do a Water Fast as I have to work, and don't think it would be a good first start for me. I have the Jack La lane juicer which is awesome! I need to fast to lose weight, and get my body ready for a healthier lifestyle. I have gained 70 pounds. It is a terrible feeling. I know I won't lost a ton of weight with the fast, but it is a good start into a healthier lifestyle.
I have only one fear, which is the stupidist of all, but my husband and I work opposite schedules, and Thursday and Friday when I am off we go out to dinner, it is important time for us to be together, and he won't feel comfortable if I don't eat. Other than that I feel determined, ready and prepared.
