Fasting ruined my ability to digest food. It took me a long time to be able to digest things again. I think it also contributed to gallstone formation. I think if people who can't control their appetites need to lose weight, a more intelligent way to do it would be Atkins or a diet rich in complex carbs. Fasting really is bad unless it's for a short time. Once I started developing pains, my vision was blurring, it was really really bad
