I read your message and have had similar problems. I am currently suffering devere depression, have regained my youth only in terms of Acne and have lost the ability to be patient and tolerant. I have attributed most of this to mirena and am awaiting an appointment to have it removed. If I feel better after this is done I will let you know. The only plus has been that I have had no periods since having it fitted in August 2002.
