Hey,

Are you doing juice or water? I can't do water. Too Hard, but with the juice I usually feel pretty good.

Also with juice fasting you are consuming calories. Not loads of protein, but you are consuming some. When you fast your body cannibalizes it's own fats, tumors, skin cells and basically all the sh** it didn't have time to clean up before because of all the metabolic processes. The body stores protein as well and will use it accordingly. Our bodies store alot of junk, which miraculously the body eats first. There is no doubt that the body will attack lean muscle, but usually it's last resort, that is why we don't continue fasting for extensive periods of time. It is a time for renewal. The body finishes with the cleaning and you are again visited with REAL hunger. Only true hunger is a sign to come off your fast. I am a believer in juice fasting. The calories consumed have been alot less than one would usually eat, but I still lose weight and am able to have some nourishment. The excercise is a personal preference. I run alot and to quit cold turkey for 3 weeks is really going to ruin alot of progress, however, I blew out my calf and will probably not be able to run anyways for 2 weeks :( In this time I would have supplemented a whey protein powder serving with water before and after my workouts to aid in muscle repair, however, it seems unlikely I'll need to do that. Thanks for the heads up and I appreciate your support..always nice to have someone looking over your shoulder.
