Hi celticnagel,
I just this morning read your post above where you mention briefly your calcium issue amd a bit of your medical history.
I was wondering if you are seeing a naturopath or holistic medicine practitioner.

Before you attempt a fast of any kind I really really think you should be in touch with some one who can look at the whole picture and develop a protocol just geared for you.
Fasting can really screw up your mineral balances.
I know of someone online who can help you with that. She is such a gem and really into helping others and sharing her knowledge.
