HI all
I have had the mirena IUD for 1.5 years now and noticed that my libido was almost nil for the first year but that could also be attributed to the fact that when it was inserted I had just had my second child and my first was only 16 months old. What I don't like is the Acne I now have (I'm 34 and it's as bad or worse as when I was in high school). I have it all the time it does not come in waves as with a period. I have virtually no period - about once every 10 weeks I spot for about two hours. I noticed some moodiness but also attributed that to two small children very close in age. I have toyed with the idea of having it removed but am afraid that if I had to try to remember to take a pill everyday I may end up pregnant - which is not in our plans.
