I have had my Mirena IUD for about 11 months. My bleeding is much, much lighter and almost non-existent. I have had increased Acne and a small amount of moodiness. I would say way less then the pill. I have noticed trouble with small weight gain (2-3lbs) and difficulty in loosing weight. I would also say that it is much less than the pill. I highly recommend this IUD. I had the copper IUD before and found it terrible.
