I had Mirena IUD removed two weeks ago. I had frequent and sometimes heavy bleeding since getting it last June. I also had a problem with Depression and acne. Since having it removed, I am having a horrible period. I am trying to find info on the web, but I don't think my reaction is typical. Good luck to you, be hypervigilant if you decide on the Mirena, with your history.
