Well they're spraying something on these "organic" salads-- my sister had a bad allergic reaction from one of them. She didnt think she had to wash it because, after all, it is supposed to be organic, and free of pesticides-- and the bag mentioned it was pre-washed.
Well it was from a major fruit company that we all know taking advantage of the current "organic phase" . Don't trust your vegetables if they are marked organic.
Still use an all natural veggie wash to cleanse them beforehand. Most of the big corporations (I won't mention names but we all know who they are) can not be trusted with total honesty in not using Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) or other chemicals for long shelf life, etc.
Legally, Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) is permitted if they hide it under a different name on the labels. They can get away with this because the FDA permits them too. There is a very strong partnership with the FDA and chemical/drug/pharma/addititives companies. Alot is overlooked and they get to use loopholes to get around legal matters to shut up public outcry.
