Dear Belarius,

I'm not a moderator. I access the internet
via WebTV, a simple but unsophisticated
system. I'm not able to transfer posts.

No one has taken any liberties with my
identity. I get along with most of the CZ
regulars and visitors. I try to see the
good in everyone.

However, about 10 months ago, it seemed to
me that CZ was dominated by galloping negativity; a small group of people who
seemed to spend all day posting scornful
and angry messages on many of the most popular
forums.

I became very tired of being associated with
all that anger. I couldn't, in good conscience, tout CZ to my friends, when I
knew they'd become immediately aware of the
ill-educated Haters, and label CZ as a fringe-element website.

So last Memorial Day, I posted a long "Goodbye," and stated the reasons why I
was taking leave. I said that I hoped the
powers-that-be would come to agree with me
at some point, and clean house.

For 6 months, nothing changed. And then the
Webmaster decided to banish the three most
prominent conspiracy-theorists. He made it
clear that no more relentless negativity would
be tolerated. I watched for a couple of weeks,
and then decided to return in January.
I've had a productive 4 months, and so, I think, has CZ. God willing, the Chemtrail
Trio will stay banished. It's possible their
banishment will last only 8 more months.
If they return, I'm gone -- and this time,
for good.

Regarding Osho: I read his books before I
learned about the scandals that caused him
to be deported from the USA in the early '90s.
If I'd heard the horror-stories first, I
never would have picked up The Book of Secrets.

I hope to start a spiritually-oriented
forum here on CZ in the next two weeks.
It will be different from the two forums
that already deal with spiritual subjects.
If it's accepted, Belarius, you'll know it.
I think it has a chance to become very
popular. Cross your fingers.

It's good to connect with you. I'll see you
around the CZ campus.
