My sisters and I were raised vegetarian from birth. We did eat dairy products, but very rarely did we eat eggs. We also ate soy, but not as much as vegetarians today, as it wasn't as popular. I am not aware of any adverse effects any of us have had from it. I am short 5'3, darn! But my sisters are tall, so it didn't stunt growth or development.I am not sure if that helps, but I know we did okay without the eggs!
