Hello everyone,

This week I ended a 26 day master cleanse fast.

I lost 30 pounds so far!!! (yeahh) I did not weigh myself at all during the fast because I didn't want to get discouraged. I know there are good days and bad days during the weight loss process. I wanted to see the overall end result.

I am feeling really good right now. I ended my fast with juices the first day and started eating only vegetables and salads this week. I find I crave only healthy foods now. The idea of junk food turns me off.

I won't say it was easy. There were struggles every day but I tried to keep my goal before me at all times.

At the beginning of my fast I wrote down a list of all the reasons I am doing this and would read it to myself everytime I felt weak or I might give into temptation. I'm still keeping this list to help me keep things in perspective through the holidays.

I'll be doing the fast again after the holidays. It gets easier each time you do it and I found I could do it for longer periods of time with each fast. The first time I did the M/C I only made it to 3 days, next time 5, then 10 etc... so don't give up on yourself if you don't make it very far. You'll get better at it with each fast. Just pick yourself back up and try again, you will get stronger.

I wanted to thank "Owen" for believing in me and encouraging me to believe in myself too. That was the very jump start I needed!!!!

I hope this board remains supportive and non-judgemental. Words can bring healing and its important that people can have a warm place to turn to where they feel safe and comfortable to express their fears and anxieties without being attacked.
