Hello all
As of today I am a vegetarian. The only animal product I will eat will be eggs. Back in 2000 I tried it, but after 3 months I went back to my old habits. Hopefully with some support and knowledge I will do better this time.
My background: I am 30, single. I have no friends who are vegetarians, only relatives that are is my hippy aunt, and my brother in-law. I am not close with either of them. So I am flying solo on this mission. I grew up with meat as a part of ever meal, and I never thought anything of it. When I was 14 I went big game hunting for the first time. After killing an animal, and seeing the red blood in the white snow something in me changed, I did not want to kill to live. After that I knew what I did not feel right, so becoming a vegetarian is something I feel I should do.
If you have anything for a guy starting off, let me know. Anything: your stories, tips, suggestions.
