Hello,
I am desperately trying to be vegetarian as a step to becoming vegan. The whole protein thing is very confusing for me. I work 60 hours a week and don't have a lot of time for sprouting, so the raw alternative won't work for me until next year.
I have a list of legumes, grains, veggies, fruits, and nuts and seeds that are high in protein that I am willing to eat... but I was hoping someone who was vegetarian and did not use a lot of soy could point me toward their favorite alternative to soy. I use organic soymilk on my cereal every AM, and thats about it. I also like Hemp Seed. Wren, I will try searching your posts more, too.
Also, if anyone can point me to a link that explains why gluten and wheat are bad, I would appreciate it, I tried searching, but cannot get anything good to pull up. I know from elimination my body doesnt like wheat, but I was curious as to possible reasons why.
Thank you for your help.
