Dreamz...alot of good questions, alot of good points.
However, I disagree with you.

First of all, people are not categorically good or evil or some combination of both. Behavior is good or evil depending on our choices. And sometimes we choose to do the good and loving thing and other times, we choose to not do the good or loving thing. To choose to do the good and loving thing is to yield to the knowledge of God in each of us. To reject that knowledge is to harden our heart to God, in which case He then says that He gives us over to a reprobate mind.

"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient." Romans 1:28

What is your basis for this view?

No, wrong! God created the day and the night based upon the rotation of the sun (light) for many reasons, to determine days, seasons, etc and so we would have a cycle to rest. But...when we get to heaven, the bible says that there will be no night or darkness there at all. And not only that...but that heaven will be illuminated by God who is ALL light.

And God's nature is perfectly good, just, loving, etc. God has no "dark" side.

I like your analogy of the cell, although I disagree with your observation. Let me give you my own...
Even in the physical body which God has created, cells are not a combination of good and bad. They are only good (as long as they are given good nourishment). You cannot expect to constantly feed your cells toxic substances and expect them to do the job that they were created to do.

So, in my opinion the duality theory or yin-yang theory may sound good...but does not work when thought through logically and in the context of what we know about God and creation as He has defined it.
