Darkness - absence of light
Evil - absence of good
Cold - absence of heat

You get my drift...they aren't opposites - you just get one when there is an absence of the other.

And terminology is important when defining yourself, don't you think? One would not want to be misrepresented. God himself says that He alone is God and beside Him there are no other gods. That is what makes Christianity a monotheistic religion and Oneness a Pantheistic religion.
